Larry served on a LSM-289 landing ship in World War II in Okinawa and Wakayama, Japan. Scroll way down this page to view a few photos of the LSM-289.
Larry started his career at the Provident Mutual Insurance Company two days after getting out of the Navy in 1945. Later he worked as a financial planner for Provident Mutual until his retirement. While at Provident Mutual, he was a member of the Millionaire Dollar Round Table. Provident Mutual has since been bought by Nationwide Insurance.
He started The Bonsai Store with Tom McCurry - as a hobby - about 20 years ago and it is still only a hobby that he really enjoys.
Larry also enjoys meeting new people and is always ready to sit and chat anytime.
Other hobbies include spending time with family and friends . . . and fishing.
Larry lives in The Forum with the “catch of his lifetime”, Olivia.
